Earlier work

Short versions. The three projects on my homepage are the ones I'd rather talk through in depth. These are what came before, and where a few of those habits started.

  1. A group photo of around twenty five UCLA students with Jennifer at the end of a UX wireframing workshop, standing in front of screens reading "UX Wireframing".

    UCLA ONE · Volunteer · 2021-present

    UX workshops for UCLA students

Taught two five-week UX workshops for 15 UCLA students who had no access to formal UX coursework or internships, and served as UX consultant for a campus hackathon.

  2. Android and iOS store-search flows side by side: the same find-a-store task designed to each platform’s conventions, ending in a store details screen with map, hours and services.

    Oracle · iOS + Android · Shipped

    Family Dollar mobile checkout

Led the redesign of Family Dollar’s mobile app checkout across iOS and Android, streamlining the flow within each platform’s conventions rather than forcing one design onto both.

  3. A component documentation page for a Recent Orders card, with a change log, usage notes, an annotated anatomy diagram numbering each interactive element, and error-state variants.

    Oracle · Figma · 2022-2023

    Commerce Cloud Accelerator design system

Overhauled Oracle’s Commerce Cloud Accelerator design system in Figma, restructuring its documentation specifically to reduce how often engineers had to come back and ask a designer what something meant. The direct ancestor of my current design-system work.

  4. Three slides from a healthcare application research deck: a title slide, a summary of healthcare application trends including telemedicine and AI, and goals broken down by application type.

    Oracle · UX research apprenticeship

    Healthcare application research

Ran competitive landscape analysis and defined user screening metrics and research goals that shaped a new healthcare application’s design.

  5. Two client deliverables side by side: a high-fidelity PLCB order-details screen on desktop and mobile, and a low-fidelity Navy Exchange shopping cart wireframe with multi-vendor subtotals.

    Oracle · Multiple clients

    B2B/B2C commerce implementations

Partnered with engineers and QA to launch several B2B and B2C commerce sites, reviewing client-side UX designs and reconciling client goals with what the platform could actually do.
